Papers include compositions and original scores for most of Daugherty's early compositions as well as many of his later works, including the Metropolis Symphony, Desi, and Motor City Triptych. Other materials documenting Daugherty's musical career include correspondence, reviews, previews, programs, brochures, and notes. The collection also includes notes, exams, papers, grant and fellowship applications, and a scrapbook/album that document Daugherty's education and academic career.
